Ned’s Artwork

Last week Ned asked me to help him organize his linocuts. He was trying to put aside one copy of each print he had pulled for his files, and then all the multiple pulls in another box. That’s when I rediscovered old favorites (one going back to 2014) and also found some new favorites! Some were small things like the giraffe, and some show how he has been meditating on and working through different ideas in Scripture, as in the Bride of Christ wearing the armor of God and being the Beloved (as found in Songs of Solomon). I love how he makes stories in Scripture come alive, also how he portrays the strength of women. He has done some pieces “after” certain favorite artists like Rouault and Sadao Watanabe. Right now he is working on Hell… so that is something that has made for interesting conversation. (Not sharing that yet…)

Here you go… a look at some of Ned’s work. I’m a pretty proud wife.
